Gear Notes

As grants conditional Critical Chance, you can decide to go with more or less Precision on your gear: going with the lowest Critical Chance of 50% to achieve critical cap will make your bursts stronger when the trait is fully activated, at the cost of sustained Damage. Alternatively, if you decide to add Precision you will get constant Damage outputs but less burst potential, as you will rely less on the trait bonus.

Trait Notes

and could be considered to have a different playstyle with early Damage spike windows.

and could be a good choice in setups with multiple Damage dealers to share Strains at the cost of personal Damage.

Rotation & Extras

Power Amalgam is a melee Damage dealer using different kits and new Morph skills in order to generate Downs with strong spikes. This build is really close to Power Holosmith playstyle but with rarer and stronger sources of Damage.

Our main Cooldown will allow us to reset all our powerful Morph skills while granting us a periodical boost to all statistics. We will be pairing it with one strong timing of our squad such as Well of Corruption Spike.

Every Morph skills will be granting an unique effect called Strain : we will mostly look at and as they respectively give us a Damage increase and additional hits.

Always start on your weapon set. Once you reach 25 stacks, swap to your other weapon set.

Burst Rotation

Our main Cooldowns to keep track of are and . Make sure to keep using them together as much as possible to overlap your ticking Damage together with the rest of your skills.

Your Burst Rotation, notably on Well of Corruption Spike call should be as follows:

You will want to cycle through the Weapon Rotation while waiting for these main Cooldowns to be back.

Weapon Rotation

Once you've done your Burst Rotation, you will need to wait for your main Cooldowns to come back up.

You now have to rotate efficiently between , and Hammer. The following skills are your main source of burst and should be used off Cooldown:

should be covering the downtime between these skills throughout the rotation. Use the following:

  • and should be used whenever it is up.
  • Auto Attack while waiting for your Cooldowns to come back up.

The Auto Attack on should always be your go-to when you can't commit to other skills or when no other Cooldown is available to cast.

Acid Bomb

You can cancel the recoil of by using your Weapon Swap after its initial hit.

Rotation Notes

Always make sure to use your Morph skills before in order to fully abuse its Cooldown reset ability from .

Try to synchronize as much as possible and . Their use should ideally be followed by and to quickly finish players with a second burst.

is our main defensive Cooldown. It can be activated to prevent dying on upcoming risky moves or react to heavy enemy bursts. It can also be used to prevent downing from .

is our only Stun Break. Avoid using it too much as a pure source of Damage if you struggle surviving.

is a powerful Block on a relatively short Cooldown : remember you can use it if you start getting too exposed in melee while bursting, it might save you.

is a gap-closer with multiple Evade frames which could potentially help you repositioning in bad situations.
