Rotation & Extras

Support Dragonhunter is a good support choice in the current meta focused on giving Stability and offering good mitigation through Blocks. Similar to Firebrand, you also provide Heals, Cleanses and good defensive boons output.

Prestacking:

Use one Charge of 15 seconds before a fight starts to grant your allies Aegis and Swiftness.

Keep casting beneath your group to stack Swiftness out of combat.

If your Commander calls for Fire Fields or a Might call before a fight starts, combo any Fire Field with then cast to grant your allies Might.

Primary Boons

Support Dragonhunter has a relatively simple rotation priority and is as follows:

  • Start with . This is best used at 1200 Range from the enemy and prioritized over other Stability sources when available.
  • Cast to trigger . This skill is your primary way of mitigating Damage. Make sure you aim the cone of this skill towards enemies to ensure you're Blocking enemy attacks.
  • Use to reset so you can have longer periods of mitigation when the enemy is bombing you or using on you.
  • Granting Aegis to allies will reduce 's cooldown thanks to allowing you to mitigate for longer periods of time.
  • is a Fire Field that pulses Stability. This is best used to fill in gaps in Stability or when your squad is mitigating or not moving mid fight.
Supporting Allies

is a strong Crowd Control skill used to stop enemy pushes or used on a call.

and will Heal allies whilst you are in Staff. is a good way to provide cover boons to allies after you apply Stability.

and (this will also Knockback enemies from your) will heal allies on your mace/shield set whilst and are ways to apply Aegis and Protection. This is a great way of activating .

Stunbreaking yourself via or with .

Using to block attacks.

is best used in clashes when you need to Heal and Cleanse allies whilst also applying Immobilize to enemies. can also be used to reposition yourself, Heal and Cleanse.
