Rotation & Extras

Support Firebrand is a strong support that focuses on giving Stability. The build also has strong offensive options to Crowd Control enemies whilst retaining a lot of defensive options to support your allies. It provides Stun Breaks, strong Heals, Cleanses and good defensive boons output.

Firebrand has its Virtues replaced by Tomes:

  • is your offensive Tome granting you access to a Pull and damaging options.

  • is a defensive Tome granting you access to Cleanses, Healing and Epilogue: Eternal Oasis.

  • is a defensive Tome granting you access to important boons like Stability and Resistance alongside Epilogue: Unbroken Lines.

Prestacking Might and Other Boons

If possible; swap your third utility slot, exlcuding or , to and cast one of it's Charges 15 seconds before a fight starts to grant your allies Aegis before swapping back to your desired utility.

Keep casting beneath your group to stack Swiftness out of combat.

If your Commander calls for Fire Fields or a Might call before a fight starts, combo any Fire Field with then cast to grant your allies Might.

Primary Boons

Stability is extremely important and here is your list of sources. This is one of your main responsibilities!

Source Notes Usage
Personal Stun Break applying Stability to you and your allies Best used at 1200 Range from the enemy and prioritized over other Stability sources when available.
Group Stun Break that applies Stability to you and your allies Best used to fill gaps in Stability or to Stun Break yourself or allies. Try not to use the last charge unless really needed
AoE that pulses Stability Best used to fill in gaps in Stability or when your squad is mitigating or not moving mid fight
Group Stun Break that applies Stability to you and your allies Best used when there is a lot of pressure to fill gaps in Stability as you are most likely going to spend Pages in that Tome to support your group
Epilogue: Unbroken Lines Grants Toughness and Stability to you and your allies Best used to help mitigate damage when the enemy is bombing you.

A simple rotation you can follow is to:

You can fill the gaps with .

(via ) and activating by granting an ally Aegis or Stability will grant Quickness.

Other Boons

, entering and also casting Epilogue: Ashes of the Just will grant Might to your allies.

Chapter 4: Stalwart Stand will grant Resistance, make sure you cast this when crossing the enemy zerg or when you get bombed.

, , entering and casting Epilogue: Unbroken Lines will be the main ways you will provide Protection to your allies.

Make sure you have enough Pages to cast Chapter 4: Stalwart Stand and Epilogue: Unbroken Lines. Keep in mind that every third tome skill you use, you will gain back one Page thanks to .

A lot of Boon Removal skills strip the last boon applied to you. Because of this, to avoid having Stability stripped from your allies easily, you want to cover it with other boons.

An easy way to do this is to cast or to trigger by entering a Tome after casting one of your Stability sources. You an keep track of the Cooldown of when your respective Tomes' icon switches to Dormant Courage.

Supporting Allies

Entering will trigger .

  • Epilogue: Eternal Oasis is best used if your party has a lot of conditions and to help your secondary support with the additional healing effectiveness bonus.
  • Chapter 2: Radiant Recovery can also be used if you have the spare Page for Condition Removal.

Try to Stun Break your allies by entering to trigger or using after pointing your camera at them if they are stuck behind.

and will Heal allies whilst you are in Staff. will additionally restore Endurance to allies thanks to .

and > will Heal allies on your Mace / Shield set.
