General Firebrand Tips

Make sure you don't Pull in Seekers with . If you're tanking on the side of the arena this should be fairly easy.

If your CC on Vale Guardian is slow, you can delay using . If you are in your , you can use Chapter 3: Heated Rebuke.

You can dip into your and use Epilogue: Eternal Oasis during each Breakbar Phase. This will help your subgroup gain additional healing.

Split Phase

You should go to the Red Guardian during the split phase.

Take care not to Pull in the Seeker that spawns. If you do get aggro of it, you can use to Immobilize it.

Your will have its Cooldown reduced by 20% (or you will gain a page if you are in ) when you kill the Red Guardian due to . This means there is absolutely no reason to skill save here.

Gorseval

You can very easily tank Gorseval by swapping a piece or two of Ritualist gear to Celestial in order to gain some Toughness.

You can use a charge from to prevent the Knockback from when you first run to Gorseval. You can use this to provide Aegis for your subgroup for every .

Breakbar Phase

You can use to help CC. If you are in , you can use Chapter 3: Heated Rebuke as well.

Be careful when stacking and during the Breakbar Phase. Remember that you can spam your twice during the Breakbar Phase to help you keep up some health.

If you see a Charged Soul is getting dangerously close to Gorseval, you can use to Immobilize it.

Around each Charged Soul there is a pulsing AoE that inflicts Weakness. Dip into your and use Chapter 4: Stalward Stand. This will grant Resistance and will make sure that your subgroup doesn't suffer from the pulsing Weakness.

Sabetha

You can easily contribute to add control at Sabetha by using to Pull them in.

Make sure that you don't waste any of your burst as Sabetha goes Invulnerable. The same applies to the Champions as they will spawn Invulnerable.

Keep an eye on your classes that are doing cannons. Save if they are about to come back. This will ensure that they will get instant Quickness.

You want to communicate with the Alacrity provider in your subgroup to see which of you will bring Stability, Aegis or a group condition cleanse to prevent Slothasor from Fearing your subgroup after each Breakbar Phase.

If you are assigned to eat the first shroom you can place on Slothasor before he turns hostile to give him Swiftness. This way he will approach your team a lot faster. Make sure to swap back to your normal weapons before eating the shroom!

You want to use whenever possible to Pull the Slublings in. If Slublings are running around like crazy, you can dip into and use Chapter 3: Valiant Bulwark to provide some projectile defense.

If you see that your squad frequently get hit by , you can open and use Epilogue: Eternal Oasis followed by Chapter 2: Radiant Recovery to cleanse those conditions. Remember that also cleanses conditions!

Keep an eye on people that have to do mechanics. Save your for until they return.

Breakbar Phase

Don't go into your if Slothasor is about to go into his Breakbar Phase. This is because all conditions are removed at the start of each Breakbar Phase. Once the conditions have been cleansed, you can restart your rotation.

If the Cooldown of is not up for the 10% Breakbar Phase then you can use followed by Epilogue: Unbroken Lines for Stability and Aegis to prevent Fear from Slothasor.

You want to act as the main reflect main reflect at Matthias by taking . You also have a backup reflect in your . You can use Chapter 3: Valiant Bulwark for every other reflect as it might not be back off Cooldown every time.

If you are not acting as the main reflect you want to take instead due to its massive Breakbar damage.

Conditions continue to apply when Matthias uses his , so always continue with your rotation when he uses this attack.

At 40% you want to use followed by Epilogue: Unbroken Lines and Chapter 1: Unflinching Charge for Stability and Aegis to prevent Fear from Matthias.

Don't go into your if you are close to the sacrifice. You can easily burst down the sacrificed member if you aren't careful.

Later on in the fight you can find that the Cooldown of is not up for the greens, if this occurs you want to use followed by Epilogue: Unbroken Lines for Stability instead.

You want to take as many Fixations as you can since your Breakbar damage is relatively low.

It is possible to get two Fixations in a row by Dodging backwards as soon as you are freed from . This is reliant on others not being too far out so don't worry if this doesn't work every time.

Use and to help CC. You can also use Chapter 3: Heated Rebuke, if you are in .

If you are Fixated you will want to precast just before Samarog is about to cast on you.

Split Phase

You want to use to Pull Rigom close so that others can use Knockbacks or Pulls to get him underneath Samarogs hitbox. You can also use Chapter 3: Heated Rebuke, if you are in .

Don't waste any of your big cooldowns on the Pyres. As you make your way back to Qadim you can use to pull the Magma Elementals away from the Lava Elementals.

You can relatively easily tank Cardinal Adina by swapping a piece or two of Ritualist gear to Celestial in order to gain some Toughness.

You want to make sure that you sidestep the big cone tell attack that Adina casts as it will Knockback you otherwise, it is also possible to use Stability to stop it. You also want to take care when Adina is phasing as the that she places will explode and deal a lot of damage to you.
