General Gameplay tips

If you start your Engage with the Dagger Opener, you can choose any Healing Skill you want. It is usually recommended to take , as this will allow you to skip mechanics and increases your Uptime and your overall Survivability.

If you prefer the Hammer Opener, you can just take .

If you want to raise the Skill Ceiling of this Class to the next Level, you can think about replacing the with on Hammer.

Note: On some bosses it is better than on others. It is an Experience thing to know where and how it works the best.

If you see an Lightning Field Combo Field under you, you can contribute to any potential Breakbar by using your and increasing your uptime of in the Process. Leaps through a Lightning Field will daze the Target.

Spirit Vale

Vale Guardian

Skills Weaponset

General Spellbreaker Tips

Use and as you run towards Vale Guardian when the encounter starts.

Open up on Vale Guardian with your normal rotation. You can easily move out of , if it spawns first, during .

Make sure to not get ported by while using Movement Skills. You can not interupt those except with Weapon Swap.

When the Breakbar comes up for you can mostly continue your rotation. You naturally carry a lot of CC in your rotation and will probably provide more than any other DPS class in your squad. If you are on Hammer Set you might consider using and earlier or later in your Rotation. If you are on Dagger Set you might consider using earlier or later in your Rotation.

Split Phase

You should go to the Blue Guardian and Green Guardian during the split phase.

If you are on Hammer Set you might consider using and earlier or later in your Rotation to contribute to the Breakbar.

You can use any of your CC Skills or to strip the Blue Guardian of Blue Pylon Power.

Full Counter

You can pretty much trigger on demand at Vale Guardian.

works with:

- Every three seconds you will take tick damage from Vale Guardian's aura.

- Vale Guardian's auto attack.

- The AoE tick from Seeker. (Be careful about )

- The white orbs during the split phase.

- The breakable skill from Vale Guardian.

Using on is difficult unless you are really paying attention to the passive aura ticks. is probably the easiest and safest skill to use, at least during the main phases.

You don't want to be using on the Seeker unless you know that is on Cooldown. will activate on the closest mob and this could be the Seeker you used on. This would mean that you lose the 15% damage modifier from .

alongside , is the easiest thing to trigger on during the split phases. There are plenty of these white orbs flying all over the place.

will not stop the teleport from .

Gorseval

General Spellbreaker Tips

Spellbreaker is a great choice for people of little faith. This class performs amazingly even when not provided with Aegis or Stability to negate the Knockback of .

If you use , you can try to use 3x on your DaggerSet by refreshing it with for a DPS Increase! But dont delay you weapon swap for too long and dont sacrifice other skills by not pressing them otherwise it wont be worth it DPS wise.

When you engage Gorseval you should have enough Adrenaline for to block the first .

Full Counter

Gorseval doesn't provide a huge amount of sources to trigger with.

works with:

- Every three seconds you will take tick damage from Gorseval's aura.

- Gorseval's auto attack.

- The Knockback skill.

is probably the easiest attack to use due to its large tell. It is also one of the very few attacks where using might be really worth it for the DPS, since it saves you from dodging the Knockback and can be used as you engage Gorseval.

Split Phase

Continue your rotation as usual.

Don't use any burst skill on the final Charged Soul unless you know that was recently triggered. You always want to have up as quickly as possible on Gorseval after each split phase.

Breakbar Phase

Don't kill yourself by using during .

Apart from , you can freely do your normal rotation. You have a lot of CC just by following the normal rotation but if your squad wants to instantly break Gorseval you need to make sure that you use and on the Hammer Set and on the Dagger Set as soon as the breakbar shows up.

Sabetha

You can play your rotation like usual.

If you happen to get a or are on Canon Duty, you can use any of your movement skills to close the gap.

If you are on Canon Duty try not to use any burst skills up there, because of .

Use and as you run towards Slothasor when the encounter starts.

You can use to ignore the ticking damage of the Poisoned Ground and to heal yourself.

Open up on Slothasor with your normal rotation. You can easily fit in a full loop before Slothasor uses . You can go in to the poisoned green Area of the Mushrooms to avoid the knockdown of and use there to avoid the Damage of the Poisoned Ground.

When the Breakbar comes up try to use all your available CC Skills. You can try to finish the Breakbar with for the buff so you can reset your rotation. You could think about using your while Slothasor is negating your Damage, so you can use Leap Finishers through it for Extra CC. You can also again on the Poisoned Ground for more Breakbar Damage.

- The aura from Slothasor.

- The auto attack from Slothasor.

- The flame breath from Slothasor.

Poisoned Ground - The green floor that covers the arena.

The poisoned ground is by far the easiest and safest way to trigger .

will allow you to block the Fear from after the Breakbar Phase.

Breakbar Phase

Use all of your CC Skills to help break Slothasor. The faster you break the faster the fight. You should be able to reset your rotation around each Breakbar.

You can't do any damage at all during the Breakbar Phase so don't blow your Cooldowns, especially your Tether and . The faster you break Slothasor, the faster you can get back to DPS.

Keep Construct

Try to cleave the Phantasms when they approach with .

Use if you have little faith when Keep Construct uses .

Don't use any Burst Skill while you are Pushing Orbs. This may cause to trigger and it won't be off Cooldown for the burn phase. You can use your Hammer Skills on any Mobs in the Arena to prestack .

Never stand on one of the buttons during the split phase. You have absolutely no ranged attacks and will be useless there.

Help out with each Breakbar Phase as fast as possible. If you are on Hammer Set you might consider using and earlier or later in your Rotation. If you are on Dagger Set you might consider using earlier or later in your Rotation. Slower breaks result in faster shard spawns.

Mursaat Overseer

Mursaat Overseer is literally a DPS golem. The only thing you need to watch out for is that you don't use when Jade Knights come in. This is because you can accidentally trigger on the Jade Knights and not Mursaat Overseer!

Samarog

Use and as you run towards Vale Guardian when the encounter starts.

Open up on Samarog with your normal rotation. You can easily fit in before Samarog uses . As comes down you can use to block it.

You can use your Movement Skills to jump over and evade the .

When the Breakbar comes up for try to be on your Hammer set. You can try to finish the Breakbar with for the buff so you can reset your rotation.

- The Knockdown from Samarog.

- The shockwave from Samarog.

- The large spears that leave AoEs. You can the impact and the pulsing AoE.

- The trust exercise. No need to worry about trusting any of your sleazy squad as you can just ignore it with .

- The auto attack from Guldhem.

- The AoE Stun from Guldhem.

Using on is difficult unless you are really paying attention to the passive aura ticks. is probably the easiest and safest skill to use, at least during the main phases.

, alongside , is the easiest thing to trigger on during the main phases. During the split phase you can use , the auto attack from Guldhem.

If you do use or Pulsing Spear AoE to trigger make sure it does not cause you to use .

can allow you to ignore the mechanic. I.e you don't need another squad member to come and save you.

Split Phase

Continue your normal rotation on Guldhem until he is at around 25% health. Then, you will want to delay using any burst skills to avoid triggering on Guldhem.

Breakbar Phase

Use all of your CC Skills to help break Samarog. You should be able to reset your rotation around each Breakbar.

You can't do any damage at all during the Breakbar Phase so don't blow your Cooldowns. The faster you break Samarog, the faster you can get back to DPS.

You can try to trigger on to do even more CC while Samarog's Breakbar is up.

Deimos

Do not try to without Aegis, because you will still get knocked back.

You can also use to skip the mechanic.

You can also use to negate the Damage of . This allows you to continue DPS while the rest of your squad cower in the protective bubble.

Who needs faith when you can just use at Deimos?

- The auto attack from Deimos.

only with Aegis - The Knockback from Deimos.

- The "blacks" that spawn after 60%. This is pretttyyyyyyyy saucy so try to avoid doing this.

Hands - The hands that spawn on the furthest player from Deimos. You can the impact and the pulsing damage from them.

, alongside in combination with Aegis, is the easiest thing to trigger on during the main phases.

Split Phase

Continue you Rotation as usual here.

You can help break each Saul with any of your CC Skills.

As a side note: You can the Hands when Deimos reaches at 10% HP. This will grant you stacks of and . Make sure to have enough Adrenaline when you get ported to the last boss phase. You can use your active for Adrenaline, while Deimos is Invulnerable.

Hall of Chains

Dhuum

Skills Weaponset

General Spellbreaker Tips

Make sure you can get all the hits from . Delay it if Dhuum is about to use . You can go into the AoE of for a few seconds after it spawned, so you can continue your rotation.

If you need to, you can use any of your Movement Skills to deal with mechanics.

You can try placing in the middle before Dhuum uses and jumps there, so he does not get any boons from the players. If that is too risky for you, you can use it afterwards to strip some of the boons. Any of your CC Skills will remove the remaining boons as long as Dhuum does not have any Stability.

Dhuum offers a lot of sources to trigger .

- Every three seconds you will take tick damage from Dhuum's aura.

- Dhuum's auto attack.

- The green AoE circles that spawn after each .

- The glowing fractures that spawn on the ground.

- You can negate the damage from the "Soul Split" attack but you will still lose your soul and get Torment.

- The AoE that surrounds Dhuum during .

- The cone attack that strips boons as you are pulled towards Dhuum.

- You can use on one of the ticks.

- The AoE that surrounds the messengers.

, and are probably the easiest attacks to their frequent use or large tell.

Mythwright Gambit

Qadim

You should play the Greatsword Tactics Build here, since you benefit from and the increased by Boon Strip a lot, especially if you skip the Stability Pyre Guardian, because that would mean you can not CC Qadim with any of your Skills for Stacks.

Taking instead of is also a viable option.

You can take as a backup incase your Squad wants to skip the Stability Pyre Guardian and your Squad does not have enough Damage. If you play with Challenge Mode enabled, make sure to have on the ready for the Breakbar, since it will appear earlier than on Normal Mode. Without some kind of heavy boon removal, you will struggle to break the Breakbar whilst Qadim has stability.

Remember that you can't do any damage to Qadim when his Breakbar is up. The faster you break him, the faster you can go back to DPS.

Don't use at that Start of the Hydra Phase. Use it later when the Breakbar appears.

You can easily kite the Wyvern since negates literally everything that the Wyvern does.

Qadim basically allows you to use whenever you want and trigger it instantly.

works with:

- Every three seconds you will take tick damage from Qadim's aura.

- Qadim's auto attack.

- Another form of Qadim's auto attack that causes a Knockback.

- The initial strike from Qadim's that causes .

- The shockwave attack from Qadim's and Destroyer.

- The burning lines that shoot around Qadim.

- The AoE circle that's underneath Qadim.

- The attack that comes from not CC'ing the Hydra.

- The Hydra auto attack.

- The multiple AoEs from the Greater Magma Elemental.

& - The large single AoE from the Greater Magma Elemental and Destroyer.

- The jump AOE from the Destroyer.

- The swipe from the Destroyer.

- The attack that comes from not CC'ing the Destroyer.

All of the listed attacks from Qadim are extremely easy to trigger with. If nothing else remains you can walk inside Qadim and trigger on .

Cardinal Adina

If you choose to play with put on your Weapons and swap out . Or if you are lazy just leave your Sigils as is and swap out , but you will deal slightly less Damage that way.

This is basically just a golem rotation. Never take a Pillar. You have no ranged capabilities and your DPS will suffer a lot!

Cardinal Adina will grant herself a stack of Might after every Autoattack. You can try to strip it with you CC Skills or , if you choose to play with it, before using or other big Damage Skills.

If you try to skip the Pillar Mechanic, you can try stripping the Protection as soon Adina applies it to herself when she starts charging up.

works with:

- Adina's auto attack.

- Adina's aura tick.

- Adina's Knockback attack that also destroys Pillars.

- The shockwave that happens after Pillars spawn.

- The shockwave that happens at the start of each split phase.

- The Knockback attack from the Hands.

is probably the easiest attack to use due to its large tell. Also, someone will always mess up a Pillar and place it close to the boss anyways.

Split Phase

There is no reason to skill save during the split phases, so just keep up your rotation as normal. The faster you finish the split phase, the faster you are back at Adina. But make sure to not use any Burst Skills at the end of the Split Phase since that would put your on Cooldown.

Cardinal Sabir

Skills Weaponset

General Spellbreaker Tips

If you choose to play with put on your Weapons and swap out . Or if you are lazy just leave your Sigils as is and swap out , but you will deal slightly less Damage that way.

Spellbreaker is a strong choice here due to the amount of CC that you can provide. Make sure that during the Breakbar Phase, you really dish out the damage to show your worth!

You can also use to skip the mechanic.

Cardinal Sabir will grant himself a stack of Might after every Autoattack CHAIN. You can try to strip it with your CC Skills or , if you choose to play with it, before using or other big Damage Skills.

If you need to clear adds in the third phase, it's probably best that you do it. You have access to plenty of CC, with low Cooldowns, and a fair amount of burst.

Don't waste any skills that don't provide Breakbar damage during the Breakbar Phases.

Cardinal Sabir has an insane amount of fast attacks which makes it amazingly easy to trigger .

works with:

& - There are two versions of this skill. It's whenever Sabir raises either one of his Swords.

- Always follows .

- The expanding AoE after each Breakbar Phase. You can only use on your own , you allies can still kill you.

- The AoEs that the Tornados spawn.

- The projectile attack from the Wisps that inflicts Immobile.

- The AoEs that the Wisps place on the main platform.

Using on might save your life. Otherwise you can resort to using .

Qadim the Peerless

General Spellbreaker Tips

Taking instead of is also a viable option. Qadim grants himself boons periodically later in the fight. can help to remove those Boons faster.

Don't use your on the Pylon for CC as this will trigger your . This is a straight 15% damage loss on Qadim the Peerless.

You can the Knockback after the Pylons are broken. Use it, it's useful and then you don't look like a knob by getting knocked into the fire.

You can use your in the final 20% phase to reduce the total Boon Uptime of Qadim the Peerless. He applies himself boon more frequently during the last phase but luckily you will naturally strike them during your rotation due to .

Qadim the Peerless has roughly 1,000,000 different attacks and therefore it's impossible not to trigger . There are definitely skills missing from this list!

- The small AoEs that are fired at the player with Fixated.

- The triple AoE pattern.

- The long lasting "road" that Qadim the Peerless uses.

- Qadim the Peerless chooses a random target and fires three projectiles that can be jumped.

- The Knockback that occurs when you claim the Pylons and when Qadim the Peerless destroys a Pylon.

- The "Sharks" that track the lines around the arena.

- The AoEs left by the fireballs.

- The AoE field left behind by a destroyed Pylon.

- The individual AoE lightning strikes.
