</p> <p><strong>As a DPS-check boss, you need high enough squad DPS, or you'll wipe to mechanics.</strong> Squad DPS also affects what strategies to use.</p> <p>Depending on your squad DPS, there are different strategies for <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, World Eater, and <sc-armory armory-id="302"></sc-armory>: <ul> <li><em>high</em> squad DPS (&gt;75k): Fast-break <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, out-DPS World Eater, and split into subgroups to kill <sc-armory armory-id="302"></sc-armory>.</li> <li><em>low</em> squad DPS (&lt;75k): Slow-break <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, out-DPS World Eater, and move as a squad (without the <sc-armory armory-id="210"></sc-armory>, who waits to use <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="12580"></armory>) to kill <sc-armory armory-id="302"></sc-armory>.</li> <li>If you have <em>very low</em> squad DPS, out-heal <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, escape World Eater, and move as a squad (without the <sc-armory armory-id="210"></sc-armory>, who waits to use <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="12580"></armory>) to kill <sc-armory armory-id="302"></sc-armory>.</li> </ul> </p> <p>Before fighting, ask your commander about strategies! <ul> <li>Even with <em>high</em> squad DPS, it's common to use mixed strategies like fast/fast/slow breaks for <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, out-DPSing World Eater, and moving as a squad (without the <sc-armory armory-id="210"></sc-armory>)!</li> </ul> </p> <p><sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> uses <sc-armory armory-id="286"></sc-armory>-based aggro. After 3 seconds, they explode, causing moderate damage and stacking <sc-armory armory-id="18"></sc-armory> for anyone in them. <ul> <li>Patterns 1 and 2 have safe areas under <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>.</li> <li>Pattern 3 is safe a little further from <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>.</li> <li>Pattern 4 is safe further from <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>.</li> <li>Pattern 5 is safe a little closer to <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>.</li> <li>Pattern 6 has no safe areas.</li> </ul> </p> <p>Depending on your strategy (chosen pre-fight, based on squad DPS): <ul> <li><em>fast break:</em> Quickly break <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> with CC skills.</li> <li><em>slow break:</em> Slowly break <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> with CC skills.</li> <li><em>no break:</em> Don't break <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>. Instead, stay in safe areas, and out-heal the damage.</li> </ul> </p> <p>During <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, DPS slowly! If you DPS too fast, you'll <sc-armory armory-id="204"></sc-armory> from <sc-armory armory-id="492"></sc-armory>! <ul> <li>For every tick of skill damage, you're damaged for a fixed amount, so multi-hit small skills hurt more than single-hit big skills.</li> <li>Conditions don't trigger <sc-armory armory-id="492"></sc-armory>.</li> </ul> </p> <p>After <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory> ends, <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> uses <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31396"></armory> and <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31875"></armory>. It also spawns 4 adds that cause conditions and <sc-armory armory-id="327"></sc-armory>. <ul> <li>Use <sc-armory armory-id="251"></sc-armory> to cleave the adds alongside <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>, or <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="10606"></armory> on <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> to kill them from range.</li> </ul> </p> <p>Depending on your strategy (chosen pre-fight, based on squad DPS), the upcoming World Eater is handled differently: <ul> <li><em>out-DPSing World Eater:</em> Stop World Eater by DPSing <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory> to 66%, before the attack finishes.</li> <li><em>escaping World Eater:</em> After <armory armory-type="skill" armory-id="31747"></armory>, kill an Ethereal Barrier near an <sc-armory armory-id="585"></sc-armory>. Staying near the opening, kill the adds, DPS <sc-armory armory-id="262"></sc-armory>, and don't get <sc-armory armory-id="404"></sc-armory> and out of the arena. Wait until World Eater's AoE has almost filled the arena, and then glide into the <sc-armory armory-id="585"></sc-armory>. Don't glide too early! After 13 seconds, the skill finishes, killing players inside of the arena.</p> <p>If escaping World Eater: <ul> <li>Delay using the <sc-armory armory-id="585"></sc-armory> for as long as possible!
