Understanding Reward Track Filters and Repetition-
Use the filters in the top‑left corner to view which Reward Tracks are available, completed, or locked.

Additional details about each Reward Track can be found by checking the symbols next to their names. For example, the reward track is repeatable, while the Grothmar Valley reward track is not.

The Reward Track displayed at the top of the list is always your currently active Reward Track. If it is repeatable, you can enable automatic repetition by clicking the infinity (∞) symbol.
One of the biggest advantages of reward tracks in competitive game modes is that most of them grant , a valuable and expensive end‑game resource required to craft legendary items. Completing a map‑ or expansion‑related reward track for the first time usually rewards seven , while repeating the same track grants two. If you need this resource, it is generally worthwhile to complete each unique reward track at least once.
World vs World also features an exclusive reward track for the , a mandatory component for crafting most legendary weapons. Because of its importance in the legendary crafting process, optimizing your participation to complete this reward track as efficiently as possible is highly recommended.
Finally, every completed reward track rewards you with eight . By accumulating these, you can level up alts (alternative characters) for free, simply stacking them as you continue playing.
How Participation Affects Reward Track Progression
Participation acts as an experience gauge that gradually fills as you take part in WvW activities. It is divided into six tiers, each determining how much reward track experience you gain during the five‑minute server tick.
At maximum participation (Tier 6), you earn 196 reward track progress points per tick without any modifiers. At this rate, completing a standard 20,000‑point reward track takes approximately 8 hours and 35 minutes (103 ticks) with no boosts.
We’ll explain later how modifiers can significantly reduce this time.
Be aware that participation is not permanent. If you stop engaging in WvW activities for too long, your participation bar will gradually decay back to zero, requiring you to work your way back up to Tier 6 to maximize your rewards again.

You can view your current participation level right over your mini-map at the bottom-right of your screen.
Participation can be built and maintained through various actions, including killing enemy players, capturing objectives, defeating guards or lords, and using siege weapons against enemy structures.
How to Maximize Reward Track Progress
To complete reward tracks more quickly, you can use several boosts that increase the amount of reward track progress you gain on every server tick:

Festival Gobbler Boost – and
These gobblers convert and respectively to provide a 25% Reward Track gain increase for 15 minutes. The duration can be stacked up to 24 hours. While these items are purchased from the Gem Store for 400 Gems during their corresponding festivals, they are a costly upfront investment that pays off with cheap, repeatable boosts over time.
Experience Bonus – and
These items grant a massive 50% bonus, making them the strongest single modifier available. They are fairly rare, so if you still have some on your account, they are well worth using for Reward Track progression. This bonus can also be obtained via another gobbler: , which consumes to grant a random boost, including the Experience Bonus.
This boost stacks with all previously mentioned effects for an additional 25% increase. However, it is relatively expensive, as it requires , obtained from opening .
Celebration Bonus

This enrichment can be slotted into an ascended or legendary amulet to grant a permanent 5% Reward Track bonus. It only costs a few Laurels and Badge of Honors, making it a worthwhile purchase if you plan on extensively grinding reward tracks in World vs World.
Lastly, ArenaNet occasionally applies global reward track bonuses to all accounts during special events, such as WvW Call of War or anniversary celebrations, further speeding up reward track completion during those periods.
