General Soulbeast Tips

Like all Soulbeast builds, flanking is important for increasing damage output. Even if it's difficult to stand behind the boss, almost all encounters allow you to stand slightly to the side.

Ideally you have allies nearby that are hitting your target when activating and , but it's also important not to delay the burst combo.

During short split phases, it can be a good idea to stay on the Axe + Torch set.

Spirit Vale

Vale Guadian

General Soulbeast Tips

Hybrid Soulbeast is mostly a Condition oriented build, but is exceptionally good at this encounter for providing a lot of Power damage burst as well.

Try to stick close to Vale Guardian at all times as it moves quickly and has a small hitbox. Be reactive when you see appear to avoid getting teleported.

Cast inside the hitbox to gain extra hits when Seekers are close. Since Vale Guardian has lower Armor, the rotation should be executed as fast as possible to maximize Power damage.

Split Phase

Go to Red Guardian unless there are already a few players there. Finish off its Breakbar with to be ready in the correct weapon set for the next phase.

Gorseval the Multifarious

Bristleback can be beneficial here as with many other encounters, but contributing to the Breakbar should always be a higher priority.

As there is no inherent safety against , make sure to Dodge if there is no Stability. Also be sure to step out of Ghastly Prison, even if it means cancelling .

Breakbar Phase

Use without interrupting your burst. will likely align with the Breakbar, but do not delay it unless you know it is about to come up.

Split Phase

Use to slow down Charged Souls.

Sabetha the Saboteur

Sabetha can be tricky to flank, but remember that anything but the front 90° will count.

Since there are frequent adds spawning on the platform, make sure to cast inside Sabetha's hitbox.

Salvation Pass

Slothasor

As a burst-oriented build, Hybrid Soulbeast can still perform decently on this encounter.

Stay in the Axe + Torch set if Slothasor is about to go Invulnerable before each Breakbar. Conditions can be applied as soon as the Breakbar appears, but gauge how fast the group can finish it off before bursting.

Breakbar Phase

Use and . Towards the end of the Breakbar, begin the burst rotation so that also contributes to the Breakbar. This allows for burst while Slothasor is standing still.

Hybrid Soulbeast can perform rather well despite not being a Power build.

If the group has high damage, or is going for many stacks of Compromised, conditions may be too slow to ramp up during the burn phase. It can be good to focus on Axe skills as they provide more direct damage.

Xera

Make sure to cast inside Xera's hitbox when there are adds around. If the group struggles with her Breakbar, it can be good to bring Warthog instead.

Use to Remove conditions from yourself and allies.

Bastion of the Penitent

Be sure to cast inside the hitbox when the Jade Soldiers get close.

Always get in a safe position before starting the burst.

Deimos

If you are able to time Unnatural Signet you can delay your burst until the effect is applied, since this build is focused on burst.

It should be easy to keep up damage even when having to move away from the boss. Find a safe position as to not trigger .

Split Phase

Stay on the Axe + Torch set unless the group is going to take a while before making it back to Deimos.

Hall of Chains

Dhuum

Dhuum should be a simple encounter where this build can deal a lot of damage.

can gain a lot of extra hits when Enforcers or Deathlings are close, make sure to stand in the hitbox.

Soul Split

Use to remove Torment from your party.

Stay on the Axe + Torch set until you can get close to Dhuum again.

The Key of Ahdashim

Cardinal Adina

General Soulbeast Tips

Hybrid Soulbeast is a great damage dealer at this encounter due to its high burst and consistent damage output.

It is certainly possible to move out with a Pillar after the main burst, but staying in Cardinal Adina's hitbox is ideal if you are afforded the opportunity.

Split Phase

has good damage and a short Cooldown, which is good for taking down Hand of Eruption or Hand of Erosion faster.

While can be used as an emergency Reflect, it is best saved for the boss phase.

Cardinal Sabir

Always build up Violent Currents before going to the side of Cardinal Sabir to flank.

This build will be able to output most of its burst before the Repulsion Field.

Breakbar Phase

Make sure to use , and on the Breakbar.

can optionally be used to boost Flash Discharge's Breakbar damage.

Qadim the Peerless

There should be plenty of time between phases to deal high damage with this build. There are not many things to consider as the build does not bring much special utility.

Warthog is taken to help with Breakbars.
