Skill Changes
- Condition classes are recommended.
- Bring condition cleanses.
- Bring extra CC. If the Breakbar is not broken, the group will wipe.
Avoid applying Stability. It can be corrupted into Fear, potentially causing a player to walk off the edge or into Surging Souls (Walls).
100% - 90% Health
Tanking

Two tanks are required for this fight. The tanks are whoever picks up the runes in front of the arena. They gain Issue Challenge (SAK) as their Special Action Key. The effect Exile's Embrace is applied to both tanks. These players also have a purple border around their icons in the squad view and the current fixation has a large purple icon above their head.
Using Issue Challenge makes the tank the current fixation and start gaining stacks of Necrosis (Stacks). This increases their damage taken by 10% per stack, beginning at 6 seconds into the fight and stacking one Necrosis every 12 seconds. Necrosis stacks disappear after 30 seconds.
Swap tanks once the first fixated player reaches 3-4 stacks by having the other tank use Issue Challenge (SAK). Use your SAK every time your Necrosis stacks disappear to take fixate back.
Both tanks should have high Toughness as Soulless Horror does a lot of damage. The tanks receive frequent conditions that need to be cleansed.
Start tanking at the south side of the arena. Always keep Soulless Horror facing away from the group. Tank halfway between the center and the edge. Too far out and people can fall off the sides or get hit by walls; too close in and the Tormented Dead will be hard to push fully out of the arena.
The Tormented Dead will aggro to whoever is not the active tank.
There is no set tanking pattern, just stay away from the center and the edge and move out of the way of walls. [end][col-s] [end][end]
Mechanics
Issue Challenge (SAK)
Issue Challenge is the tanking Special Action Key. Using the skill gives you Fixated.
Necrosis (Stacks)
Necrosis only affects the tanks. Incoming damage is increased by 10% per stack.

Surging Souls (Walls)
Surging Souls are moving, rectangular AoE that instantly kill. Spawns as either two small walls or one large wall.
Using Toggle Rotation on the mini map can help orient yourself to keep track of the walls. Always keep an eye out for these, as they dictate your movement.
You can’t Dodge or block them, so always be aware of where they have spawned.
They spawn 10 seconds after every phase. After the initial wall, walls spawn approximately every 18 seconds from 100% to 66%, 16 seconds from 66% to 33%, and 13 seconds from 33% to0%.
Every other (Big Pizza) will make all active Surging Souls disappear.
Follow wherever the group goes to avoid the Surging Souls. If you get Downed while away from the group, it’s often guaranteed death. [end][col-s] [end][end]
Elite Flesh Wurms (Wurms)
Elite Flesh Wurms are mobs on the edge of the arena. They do not respawn unless the challenge mote is active
Chilling Aura
Chilling Aura is Soulless Horror's damaging Aura. She has a faint red ring around her that deals damage.
Quad Slash (Pizza)
is a four part cone AoE that hits once, rotates 45 degrees, then hits again.
Sidestep, instead of Dodging. You have greater control over your positioning, can keep up DPS, and make it easier to avoid Surging Souls (Wall) if it is close to you.

Corrupt the Living (Auto)
Corrupt the Living is Soulless Horror's auto attack. It inflicts Torment and Poison
Slice (Auto)
Slice is a variation of the auto attack that spawns Fingers of the Dead outside of the range of Corrupt the Living. It corrupts boons.
Spinning Scythes (Scythe)
Spinning Scythes are moving, circular AoEs that damage and convert all boons into conditions. They begin appearing 20 seconds into the fight and spawn every 30 seconds. There can be up to 4 scythes at a time. They move in a straight line and cannot be killed. [end][col-s] [end][end]
Vortex Slash (Donut)
is a circular two part AoE, with an inner and outer "donut"/circle. Both parts deal damage, but the outer ring deals more. Always avoid being hit by the outer ring.
Dodge when the inner circle is almost filled.
Fight
Let the tank land first and start on the south side of the arena. Soulless Horror runs directly to them to begin the attack. She starts with an auto-attack, followed by a (Donut). Dodge that attack, but stay inside the first circle, otherwise you might Dodge into the outer one that appears later. This attack can be blocked.
If you are not the tank, never stand in front of Soulless Horror.
Cleave down the Elite Flesh Wurms (Wurms) while DPSing Soulless Horror. They hurl Wurm Spit towards players and deal a moderate to high amount of damage.
Every 12 seconds the person currently fixated gains a stack of Necrosis (Stacks). It is recommended to swap tanks once the fixated person reaches 3 stacks and to continue swapping every time the off-tank’s stacks wear off.
At 90% the arena shrinks by one ring.
90% - 66% Health
Three new mechanics are added.
Tormented Dead
[cols][col] Beginning at 90% health and every 20 seconds after, a Tormented Dead spawns.
Someone needs to be assigned to Knockback the Tormented Dead out of the arena and prevent it from dying anywhere near the group. This can be done by 1 person if they have adequate Pushes and burst DPS, or 2 people if one can Push and the other bursts it down outside of the arena.
If using a Druid, bring longbow for , and to push the Tormented Dead. This skill does not pierce without traits so Soulless Horror itself can bodyblock the attack. Trait with Marksmanship Trait Line and to avoid this.
When the Tormented Dead spawns, it will fixate on the tank that does NOT have Fixated. Immediately get between it and the center of the arena.
Push it alongside (not through) the group and fully out of arena if possible. Burst it down while it is outside of the arena and do whatever it takes to keep it from running back in. [end][col-s] [end][end]
While the Tormented Dead is close to the group do not use any hard CC on it, as it can interrupt Pushes and make an AoE spawn on top of the group.
If the Tormented Dead seems to continually be Immobilized every time it spawns, check if a Druid is using the active of which is an Immobilize.
When the Tormented Dead dies, it leaves behind a large AoE that causes Poison, Bleeding, Blind, Cripple, and Weakness.
Death Bloom (Big Pizza, Pizza)
is a bigger version of with 8 cones

Howling Death (Breakbar)
makes Soulless Horror's Defiance Bar unlock. The squad wipes if the bar isn't broken in 6.75 seconds.
At 66% Soulless Horror casts (Big Pizza/Pizza). To avoid it, step back from Soulless Horror and in between the slices of the attack. Once it is cast move back in. The attack can be Dodged; time your Evade as soon as it is about to be cast.
Soulless Horror channels (Breakbar) for 6.75 seconds, gaining a Breakbar of 3,000 that needs to be broken. If it is not broken in time, everyone is afflicted by , causing a wipe. When the break bar unlocks, all active Surging Souls (Wall) disappear, and no new ones spawn until the channel has finished.
A Tormented Dead can spawn during the channel of , making it very easy to interrupt the Knockback. [end][col-s] [end][end]

At 66%, the platform shrinks by one ring.
No new mechanics are added.

At 33% the platform shrinks by one final ring.
