Trait Notes

Instead of Illusions Trait Line, you can take Domination Trait Line for higher damage at a cost of boon self-reliance.

  • Take if using Greatsword.
Equipment Notes

can be swapped with:

  • as an alternate damage relic, requiring less brain power at a cost of less damage.
  • for added sustain in solo scenarios.

Spear can be swapped with:

  • Greatsword as an option for players without Janthir Wilds, or simply to be fully capable of staying at range.
    • Keep in mind that you should take Domination Trait Line with to use the weapon effectively.
  • Sword / Focus as another option for players without Janthir Wilds. It comes with a pull, better burst potential and additional Evades, making this set a good choice for solo play.

Off-hand Sword can be swapped with Focus for the aformentioned pull.

You can use the Raid Power Virtuoso setup instead of the one featured on this site, although keep in mind that:

  • is generally higher value in Open World than in Raids or Strike Missions due to ease of getting value out of the 7% damage effect, as well as being more flexible when swapping the sigil for something else.
Rotation & Extras

Virtuoso utilises Bladesongs, which are 1200-Ranged projectile skills, with the exceptions of and .

Virtuoso loses access to Clones, instead opting for Blades. They cannot serve as a distraction for enemies, but they persist indefinetly outside of combat.

Some Virtuoso skills have a Blade parametre. Its main purpose is trait synergies, in our case:

Always cast with five Blades.

Cast and with as many Blades as possible.

On Spear, you want to use thrice whilst being enhanced with Clarity, so you will spawn two Phantasms per cast.

Fill the gaps between skills with your utilities, Auto Attacks and .

Follow this skill priority on your Dagger / Sword set:

Ideally, you want to Weapon Swap after casting your third or second .

  • and require you to be in melee range to activate the Relic.

Your Vulnerability uptime on Spear comes primarily from strategic usage of and . On Dagger / Sword set, the condition is very easy to upkeep thanks to .

Use for a single channeled Block into an Evade.

Use for Invulnerability, with duration based on the amount of Blades used.

can be used either to get into the enemy's face... or run away. You also Break Stuns with it.
