Step 1
To play Power Weaver effectively, you will need to practice 3 loops:
First Half
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
Second Half
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
Standard Loop
- -
- -
- -
- -
- -
Notice that all 3 loops start and end in - , allowing you to switch seamlessly between the loops.
Your rotation goes:
- First Half
- Second Half
- Standard Loop
Repeating standard loop until is off cooldown, then restarting from step 1.
Step 2
In this step, we will be adding critical weapon skills to the rotation. These skills will be split up by the various attunement phases, and sorted by priority. Press higher priority skills before lower priority skills, skipping them if they are on cooldown. Fill any gaps with auto attacks.
-
-
-
-
Step 3
Now, we will add in the remaining weapon skills for the remaining attunement phases. Press these skills in the exact order as written.
-
-
-
Try not to cancel any of your weapon skills as doing so will result in a noticeable DPS loss. Since the change to , it is now easier to achieve as the timing for the entire loop is much more forgiving.
Step 4
Finally, we will add your utility skills, , and . Use in - at the start of the fight after , then use and off cooldown in - .
You want to use once off cooldown in . When is off cooldown, repeat step 4 in its entirety.
Conclusion
Power Weaver has a long and intricate loop, with parts of it requiring good timing and precision to execute. The rotation loops fast and fluidly, and is an extremely rewarding and satisfying class when played correctly.
This build is almost the full Power Weaver rotation. The benchmark video has a different 2nd rotation to maximise Golem DPS, but realistically speaking there are very few fights with phases long enough to require the use of a 2nd . It is much more important to practice and master the 1st opener, as that will be your main source of burst damage in any fight.
