Power Deadeye

Published Sep 1, 2022 Updated Jun 2, 2023 February 2023 Balance

Power Deadeye is an extremely high single target DPS Power build with no cleaving capabilities.

This build has simple gear and a straightforward but constantly punishing rotation due to its reliance on and your Initiative and Malice handling.

Power Deadeye is not very beginner friendly due to the rotation requiring extreme precision and pristine conditions.

This build is reliant on:

  • Condition for
  • Boons for
  • Above 90%/75% health for , and
  • Using Dagger, standing 180-degrees behind your target without losing boons/healing from allies

Swap to to demolish any Breakbar.

is useful to fix your rotation, but using this skill regularly is a DPS loss.

helps sustain your HP above the crucial 90% threshold.

To swap out for one of the following utility skills, equip an Assassin's :

  • to allow target-switching on most fights that do not refund your when the boss becomes Invulnerable
  • for CC
  • to quickly handle mechanics.

If you plan to use Rifle often throughout the fight for valuable Ranged DPS uptime, you should bring , , and . Consult this build's Rifle variant for your rotation.

It is exceedingly important that you stay above 75% HP at all times to maintain the +15% Critical Chance from . Without this, you are not guaranteed to get 2 Malice from your Initiative skills. Avoid all unnecessary damage.

  • and will interrupt the preceding , so don't use these skills too quickly.
  • You cannot queue from ; pause very briefly between your skill inputs.

On the golem, the Cooldowns of your Stealth skills will gradually fall out of alignment—the rotation does not loop perfectly. After approx. 100 seconds spent in a single phase, you should swap to your Daggers; fights with downtime delay this swap.

Between 25%-0% boss HP in real fights, if you cannot benefit from the ranged DPS uptime of Rifle and you can comfortably land by positioning behind your target, you should swap to Dagger.

Dagger/Pistol allows you to contribute to Breakbars via . If this is unnecessary, run two Daggers. If using offhand Pistol, use your Stealth skills after reaching 7 Malice.

Your Stealth utilities are locked-in to provide enough DPS uptime with Rifle.

On multi-phase fights that heavily favor burst, you can swap for . See the Kite Deadeye rotation for implementation.

You must flank your target to benefit from +7% Critical Chance. If you have 0% flanking uptime on an encounter, swap to at ~2.8% damage loss.
