Lava Elementals

Stand on the blue corner of Qadim's platform, target each elemental as it spawns, and use Stolen Skill to inflict high damage. If the target is still alive, use the ranged skill 1 , or cast a Cantrip to generate another Stolen Skill.

You do not need to move to other corners of the platform!

To sustain yourself, use on the Elemental that spawns next to you. If it dies early, intentionally miss with .

Qadim

Dodge left/right to avoid his long windup cone attack (occurs twice on each platform). Full details on avoiding his attacks are found in the gameplay guide!

Key Concepts
  • Spear skills 2 and 3 are each a sequence of 3 skills: Lead Attack Follow Up Finisher. Using a skill from either sequence will progress both sequences.
    • For damage, use:
    • 's 240-radius will help cleave the Greater Magma Elementals.
  • After using a Finisher:
    • grants a damage modifier
    • grants 4 Initiative (on the final, delayed strike)

It is strongly advised that you disable Auto Cast on Spear skill 1, by holding CTRL and Right Clicking the skill. If that setting remains enabled, then any skill can interrupt your Stealth Attack. If you want to queue into your next skill while the Stealth Attack is channeling, then Auto Cast must be disabled!

  • Use and throughout your Rotation to generate Stolen Skills.
  • To reset your loop with :
    • Start a new skill combo with or , and activate before you strike.
    • Stolen Skill

Do not hover your cursor over any part of the UI (e.g. Experience Bar or Mini-Map) when casting . If you do, using will clip your character through the floor.

If you get stuck, you'll have to wait for to come off cooldown. Target the nearby ground normally then use to escape.

You do want to use in rotation for damage, so just use this ground-targeted skill the normal way during this encounter.

Swap to if your group needs a portal to move from the Pyre Guardian to Qadim.
